wind energy the facts

How To Cut Down on Pollution by Using Wind Energy   by Charles Tetsal

We all know that the fossil fuels are not going to last forever, in fact we’ve known for decades that this was how it was going to be. Unfortunately things have not been done fast enough in order to stop the expenses from going up for the consumer as well as the amount of CO2 that is being put out into our atmosphere. But just because heels have been dragging for years and years, does not mean that it’s too late to start doing something about it now. One way we can change things in a hurry is by leaning on the renewable source of wind energy.

Wind energy is a great way to cut down on polluting but there is more work that needs to be done to the wind turbines that help to produce the energy. It still is not as cost effective to convert wind into energy as it should be. There is still more work that is needed to be done to make this happen. But since that is well known this is what people should be concentrating on.

The attitude of the public about this type of energy is yet at the level that it should be in order for this type of energy to succeed. It would probably be a good idea for the government to come up with some sort of incentive for homeowners, property owners and business owners, so that they would be more than willing to convert to this type of energy. The more people that use it, the more that are going to be interested in it. And the better off the entire world is going to be.

However, should the situation with the fossil fuels continue to increase the price of fuel, there is no doubt that people are going to be more willing over the next few years to stop resisting the fact that we need to turn away from a fuel that is not only harmful to our environment but getting to the point to where no one will be able to afford to purchase it. With the increase of cost other things in our world increase in cost as well. Anything that needs transportation to get to it’s destination, anything that is created with a machine that requires power is going to continue to increase in cost. So it is time that people begin to realize that no matter what the cost it will be to convert to wind energy, in the long run there is no way that it is going to cost as much as what the fossil fuel prices are headed for.

One of the best thing about wind energy even in the state it is in right now already has the capability to meet all the current needs of society and will always be there for future generations and no harm will come to the environment at any time this kind of power is being used. There are no pollutants, there are no emissions when machines are operated by wind energy.

Wind power also can pitch in to help the economy as well as political problem. With the fuel costs continuing to rise and especially the United States depending far too much on other countries for their fuel demands, this kind of energy would take the United States out of that struggle and under the thumb of other countries. Right now there are wind farms in the country that has already reduced reliance on oil by 10 to 15 percent in some parts of the country.

Another positive thing about the use of wind energy is that a long with reducing the need for fossil fuels it would also create a variety of new jobs in a country that is hurting for jobs, this would be something welcomed with open arms. Not only would it create temporary jobs for the construction of the wind turbines but it would open up permanent jobs for those who we be needed to run the wind farms.

With wind energy being a free source of fuel this would be something that would not be affected by inflation like fossil fuels are so badly affected by. All in all, this is something that companies and the government truly needs to stop dragging their heels about and start getting serious about putting into action.
